Ed and I are traveling Route 66 in a ’79 Corvette – starting in Erie, Pa. heading for the Grand Canyon. This (Captain’s Quarters) is our favorite so far, 10 days into our odyssey – because it felt like a real getaway, a hideaway, and we both were very tuned into the room and more importantly, to each other here.
